4Steps company is looking for an Android Developer who can build and maintain functional applications across Android-based devices and help us attract our target audience. The candidate would require to design, develop and test Android applications for a vast number of diverse Android devices and their integration with the back-end services. Job responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for Android devices on the Android platform,
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications,
- Maintain code integrity, quality, organization and automatization,
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance,
- Design application updates over the period of time,
- Go through the trending applications in the market and implement new technologies accordingly to increase efficiency,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features,
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency,
- Work closely with project managers in an agile environment. Required qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related field,
- 1 year of Android OS development experience,
- Experience with Kotlin, Java programming languages,
- Knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android,
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices,
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON,
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines,
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills,
- Good time-management skills,
- Great interpersonal and communication skills,
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize personal workload.
